1. Business Operator Handling Personal Information

2. Purpose of acquiring and using of personal information
When acquiring personal information (meaning information that can identify an individual; hereinafter “Personal Information”), Our Company will acquire it by legal and fair means within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use notified or announced in advance.
The Company will acquire the Personal Information necessary for providing our products and services or conducting our business, and we will handle it within the scope required for these purposes.
(1)Purposes of use related to business activities for the Company’s products and services

- (ⅱ) To provide information about our products and/or services
- (ⅲ) To respond to requests from customers
- (ⅳ) To develop our products and improve the quality of our products and/or services
- (ⅴ) Questionnaire survey
- (ⅵ) Recruitment
- (ⅶ) Services based on a contract with an Identifiable Person or an organization to which the Identifiable Person belongs
- (ⅷ) Services relating to handling of applications or requests from an Identifiable Person
- (ⅸ) Verification services for an Identifiable Person
- (ⅹ) Services business operators are obligated to perform in accordance with laws and regulations, etc.
- (ⅺ) All other management and services related to(ⅰ)through (ⅹ) above
(2)Purposes other than the activities of our business
- (ⅰ) Exercise of rights and performance of obligations under the Companies Act of Japan
- (ⅱ) Providing information to our shareholders
- (ⅲ) Providing information to, contacting, and sending notices to prospective employees (including for internships), and for our hiring selection process, processes for onboarding new employees, and other services related to our hiring activities
- (ⅳ) Sending information and inquiries from the Company to former employees
- (ⅴ) Responding to various inquiries from Identifiable Persons
3. Purpose of use of Individual Numbers
- (1) Payment record preparation for consideration and fees, etc.
- (2) Distribution of dividends and surplus and payment record preparation for interest on funds
- (3) Payment record preparation for real estate rentals, etc.
- (4) Payment record preparation for the consideration for the acceptance of the transfer of property, etc.
- (5) Payment record preparation for commissions for real estate purchase and sale or lease transactions
- (6) Other work to be performed by the Company as an executor of matters to which Individual Numbers pertain, which fall under any of the provisions in Article 19 of the Numbers Act
4. Matters related to joint use of Personal Data
The Company will provide Personal Data to certain third parties for joint use in the exceptional cases described below. However, the Company will not make any Personal Data containing Individual Numbers available for shared use.
Joint use between Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd., and its subsidiaries both in Japan and overseas (companies in which the Company holds more than 50% of the voting rights)
Joint use between Yokowo Co., Ltd., and its subsidiaries both in Japan and overseas (companies in which the Company holds more than 50% of the voting rights)
Personal Data that contains an Identifiable Person’s name, names of his or her organization or employer, his or her title or role, the postal code of his or her organization or employer, his or her address, his or her telephone number, extension number, mobile phone number, facsimile number, or email address, or other items of information similar to the foregoing.
The company will be responsible for managing such Personal Data. The company’s address and the name of the representative are as stated above in “1. Business Operator Handling Personal Information.”
5. Security control measures
The Company will take the necessary and appropriate security control measures in order to manage the Personal Data and prevent any divulgence, loss, or destruction thereof. In addition, the Company will conduct the necessary and appropriate supervision of employees and contractors (including subcontractors and the like) who handle Personal Data. The main contents of the security control measures for Personal Data are as follows
Establishment of Personal Information Protection Policies
In order to ensure the proper handling of Personal Data, the Company has established the “Basic Policy on Protection of Personal Information concerning Customers, Business Partners, and Other Individuals” and “Notice on Disclosure Matters with respect to Personal Information of Customers, Business Partners, and Other Individuals under the Personal Information Protection Act” policies with respect to compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and the like and the establishment of a help desks.
Development of rules for handling Personal Data
In order to ensure the proper handling of Personal Data the Business Holds, the Company will establish internal rules which stipulate the handling methods for such data in accordance with the stage of such handling (including the stages at which Personal Data is acquired, used, retained, provided, deleted or destroyed, and the like). The Company will endeavor to comply with these internal rules.
Organizational Security Control Measures
The Company shall establish a Personal Information Protection Office (the General Information Subcommittee’s Office of the Information Management Committee) for handling Personal Data. The Company shall also develop a system for reporting to and contacting the Personal Information Protection Office in the case where any employee becomes aware of APPI violations or the like.
Personnel Security Control Measures
The Company will conduct training for its officers and employees as necessary on points to note regarding the handling of Personal Data.
Physical Security Control Measures
The Company takes measures and the like in order to prevent the theft or loss of devices, electronic mediums, documents, etc. with which Personal Data is handled.
Technical Security Control Measures
In addition to restricting certain internal access, the Company has introduced initiatives in order to protect its information systems on which Personal Data is handled from unauthorized external access and the like.
6.Procedures for responding to requests to disclose, correct, or delete the Personal Data the Business Holds
(1) Guidelines for requests for disclosure, correction, deletion
We will respond in good faith to any requests regarding retained Personal Data based on the nature of your request and within a reasonable timeframe. The contents of the request may include correction of data, addition, deletion of data, suspension or erasure of use, suspension of provision to third parties, disclosure of records of provision to third parties, notification of the purpose of use, and provision of information regarding measures taken for safety management.

(2) Application process for a request
Please complete all required items in the “Request for the Disclosure of Personal Information Form” and send it to the consultation desk at the address listed number 7 below. (Please cover the postage costs.)
The following documents are required.
(ⅰ) For the Identifiable Person
A copy of one of your official identification document (My Number card, resident card, driver's license, or passport)
(ⅱ) For the Legal Representative
Power of attorney. Certificate of seal impression of the person whose seal appears on the power of attorney. Copies of one of official identification documents of the applicant and his/her representative (My Number card, resident card, driver's license, or passport)
(3) Fees, etc.

The written response for the disclosure of Personal Data the Business Holds
The disclosure of the Record of Provision to a Third Party of the Personal Data the Business Holds
A notice of the purpose of use of the Personal Data the Business Holds
The claimant must send the necessary documents prepared in (2) Above, postage stamps to cover the cost of standard mail, registered mail, and delivery confirmation fees to the consultation desk listed in 7 below.
*Please note that the Company will not return any postage fees, or the fees mentioned above, even if the Company is unable to comply with your request for Disclosure, Etc.

8. Other matters
If the Company separately provides a contact point for inquiries through a method approved by the Identifiable Person, such as a notice or terms of use, the specific purpose of use provided will take precedence over the content stated in this notice.
In addition, the Company may amend the content of this notice at any time as necessary to conform with any changes to the business of the Company, security improvements, amendments to relevant laws or regulations, and the like.
